The Trainees Group is open to UK based trainees in Paediatric Dentistry with a national training number, trainees with a honorary national training number and fully accredited trainees having not yet obtained a Consultant post.
The objectives of the group are:
1. provide a forum for professional discussion and offer representation for Trainees in Paediatric Dentistry.
2. endeavour to maintain and enhance terms and conditions of service for those in training posts.
3. be concerned with matters relating to in-service training in Paediatric Dentistry.
4. endeavour to uphold the values of the BSPD.
We hold a Annual General Meeting at the BSPD annual conference, usually in September.
We have a yearly educational day (masterclass) organised by trainees, where we also hold an informal trainees meeting.
We have representation on several committees, and representatives report back to the Group.
