Teachers' Branch Bursaries

Summary: 

The aim of the bursary is to facilitate newly appointed teachers to attend the annual Teachers’ Study Day meeting. It is expected that the prize budget would cover the cost of the Teacher's study day plus up to a maximum of £150 towards travel/accommodation expenses.

Application Process:

A submission of a completed application form is required (downloadable from the BSPD website) The application should be supported by the applicant’s Head of Department (Paediatric Dentistry). Applications should be submitted to the Teachers’ Branch Secretary by 31st March of each year preceding the Teachers’ Branch Study Day .

Who can apply: 

The applicant should:

1) be a member of the BSPD 

2) be involved in the teaching of Paediatric Dentistry 

3) be within the first 3 years of appointment to a teaching position in Paediatric Dentistry (Lecturer/Teacher grade or equivalent, including those with an honorary contract for teaching Paediatric Dentistry)
