Claire Stevens

Claire is a Consultant within the Central Manchester Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and President of the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry. As co-ordinator of BSPD's media team, she has appeared on ITV's "Children’s Hospital", BBC's "The One Show" (where she showed Jonathan Ross how to brush his teeth!), Channel 4's "Food Unwrapped" and BBC's "Eat well for less". She has also been interviewed for Radio 4's "You and Yours" and "More or less: Behind the Stats", LBC and Radio 5 Live. Claire is mother to two young children and author of which aims to educate parents to improve the oral health of children.


Stephen Fayle

Stephen is a Consultant and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Paediatric Dentistry and Chairman of the Managed Clinical Network for Paediatric Dentistry for Yorkshire. He is a Past-President of the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry, Chair of the National Consultants in Paediatric Dentistry Group and is a member of the Board of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has appeared on BBC Breakfast and been filmed for a Channel Four programme on children's diets.

Sanjeev Sood

Sanjeev is an Honorary Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry King’s College London Dental Institute and the undergraduate lead in Paediatric Dentistry at King’s College London. He is the lead for the Postgraduate Certificate in Paediatric Dentistry and a clinical and research supervisor on the MSc Programme in Paediatric Dentistry. He undertook his specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry in 2006 at the Dublin Dental School and Hospital, where he also carried out a Master’s thesis on bonding to teeth affected by Molar Incisor Hypomineralisation. He has been involved in co-authoring two e-Den Modules for the Royal College of Surgeons of England and more recently was involved in a photoshoot to illustrate the BSPD Dental Check by One campaign.


Hannah Walsh

Hannah is a Specialty Registrar in Paediatric dentistry at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. Her role takes her to Manchester Dental Hospital and Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. Locally, Hannah is the secretary of the North West Branch of the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry. Hannah both personally and as part of BSPD is very active on social media and is enthusiastic about getting the across to the public the importance of child dental health.
